There are a few terms that need some explanation. The first is 超, which means “super-”. Nowadays it is common to hear people, mostly of younger generations, say 超好看, 超便宜, 超貴的, etc.. I think it is borrowed from English in the usage of super-. 淒慘 means miserable and is an advanced level word. 鬼嫁 is taken from Japanese. 昆布 is seaweed, a common ingredient in Japanese cuisine.

男人真的不能讓老婆生氣，在日本有位網友幾乎每天都吃著可憐的午餐，因為妻子幫他準備的便當超淒慘，讓他在Instagram上記錄這些便當。有的飯上面只有豆子，有的只有白飯，雖然有時候也有看起來相當好吃的，但大多數的情況下都很讓人難過。
日本網友d.aiyu在Instagram分享了許多「鬼嫁便當（惡妻便當）」。要是看到只有白飯，d.aiyu會苦中作樂地說這是「銀色料理」；然後便當進步了，上面有一些豆子；有時妻子也會在白飯上用昆布排字，但便當裡也就只有飯和昆布兩種東西。

Husbands definitely can’t offend their wives! The lunch of an Internet user in Japan is poor almost everyday because the lunch box prepared by his wife is super miserable. And this makes him keep records of these lunch boxes on Instagram. Some have only beans on the rice, while others have only rice. Although sometimes they look delicious, most often their looks make one sad.
A Japanese guy d.aiyu shares many of these “lunch boxes by evil housewife” on Instagram. If d.aiyu sees only rice, he would make jokes about the sad situation saying this is “silver cuisine”. Then, the lunch box gets better, and has some beans on the rice. Sometimes his wife would write words with seaweed on the rice, and these are the only two ingredients in the lunchbox.
Occasionally d.aiyu opens the lunch box and finds it filled with bread from convenient store. When this happens, the only comfort he can give himself is that he won’t have to wash the lunch box. However, his wife is not bad at cooking. The lunch boxes she prepares for the children look pretty yummy and generous.
