El cambio es ofrecer unas preguntas de comprensi\u00f3n al final de cada post en vez de traducciones.Esto se debe a que si no usas correctamente las traducciones, se convertir\u00edan en un obst\u00e1culo en contra de tu aprendizaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Quisiera con estos cambios poder animarles a interactuar m\u00e1s con el texto. Los siguientes pasos que voy a compartir con ustedes son muy importantes cuando uno est\u00e1 aprendiendo un idioma, o cualquier otra cosa. El prop\u00f3sito es invitarles a leear m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creo que mientras m\u00e1s contacto tengas con el idioma, que es hacer la lectura en este caso, y m\u00e1s procesas el input, que es responder las preguntas, m\u00e1s se quedar\u00e1 en tu mente. Aunque leer es una actividad, que muchos consideran \u201cpasivo\u201d, de solo recibir informaci\u00f3n, esto no significa que el lector no puede ser activo y participar en la lectura. Es por esto que elaboro las preguntas para ayudarles a comprender m\u00e1s cada lectura, a procesar m\u00e1s el contenido y as\u00ed llegar a aprender mejor este idioma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responder las preguntas no es la \u00fanica forma para interactuar con el texto. Hay muchas otras formas. Tal vez tienes una diferente y quieres compartirla con todos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aqu\u00ed me gustar\u00eda darles unos consejos sobre c\u00f3mo utilizar este recurso para sacarle el provecho. Y espero que les sean \u00fatiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Para la comprensi\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Asegurarte que el texto sea de tu nivel.<\/strong> En el t\u00edtulo de cada post est\u00e1 especificado a qu\u00e9 nivel corresponde el texto. Por el momento los posts est\u00e1n graduados en tres niveles: b\u00e1sico, intermedio y avanzado. Escoge el texto que es para ti.<\/li><li><strong>Leer todo el texto varias veces.<\/strong> Quiero decir sin detenerse, sin usar el diccionario. Este paso es para forzarte a recordar lo que has aprendido y tener una idea general del texto. No va a ser fac\u00edl para ti si nunca has hecho una lectura as\u00ed en chino pero no es imposible. No te rindas, sigue una vez m\u00e1s. L\u00e9elo una y otra vez. Y cada una de esas veces podr\u00e1s comprender m\u00e1s y m\u00e1s.<\/li><li><strong>Responder las preguntas.<\/strong> Cuando piensas que ya entiendes la mayor parte del texto, puedes empezar a hacer el ejercicio, no antes. Durante este proceso, si no est\u00e1s seguro de la respuesta, vuelve a leer el texto para encontrar la posible respuesta. Toma el tiempo que necesites. Esto no es un examen, sino una pr\u00e1ctica. As\u00ed que prep\u00e1rate un caf\u00e9, un t\u00e9, y toma tu tiempo a responderlas. Disfruta el proceso! ; )<\/li><li><strong>Revisar las respuestas.<\/strong> Sobre este punto, mandar\u00e9 las respuestas a la cuenta de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LinguaTW-1238501419595214\/\">LinguaTW <\/a><\/strong>en el Facebook el siguiente s\u00e1bado, una semana despu\u00e9s de publicar el post que es cada s\u00e1bado. Y luego trata de usarlo creando unas oraciones por tu cuenta. Cuando creas las oraciones, es mejor que sean oraciones personales que expresan algo que tengan que ver con tu propia vida o tus pensamientos (aunque para algunos funciona mejor crear oraciones raras, surrealistas). Y por \u00faltimo, lee todo el texto en voz alta para darle un fin. Es importante que hagas esto. Entender\u00e1s porqu\u00e9 desp\u00faes de hacerlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos son mis consejos para los amigos que han llegado a este sitio y se han quedado a aprender y mejorar su aprendizaje con este blog. Instead of translation, comprehension questions will be found at the end of each post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is something that\u2019s been hanging over my head during these past few months. I think that if not used properly, the provided translation would become an obstacle for learning. That\u2019s why I\u2019ve decided to make this modification, hoping that it would make the reading process more interactive and more engaging. Hopefully this change will motivate you to read a little bit more and process a little bit more the text. The learning steps that I am going to share with you are important for learning a language or any other subjects. I believe that the more contact you have with the language, which is reading the text in this case, and the more you process the input, which is doing the comprehension exercise, the better you will learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although reading is considered by many a \u2018passive\u2019 mental activity of only receiving information, it by no means says that the reader can\u2019t be active and participate in the text. And this explains why I decide to make comprehension questions instead to help you become more active in the reading process. By reading more the text and processing a little bit more the content, you will eventually learn this language better. However, answering comprehension questions is not the only way to interact with a text. There are many other ways and providing you comprehension questions is what I find more feasible and more convenient for you using this platform. You can find a way that works best for you to interact with each text. Share with us if you have your own reading and learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here I would like to give you some pieces of advice on how to use this free resource and really take good advantage of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To check your reading comprehension: &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Make sure you choose the right text.<\/strong> You can know the level of each text by reading the title. So far the posts are graded in three levels, which are basic, intermediate and advanced. Choose a text that matches your level.<\/li><li><strong>Read the whole text a few times.<\/strong> This means to read without stops, without using the dictionary nor the popup tool. This step is to have you strive to recall what you\u2019ve learned so far and have a general idea of what the text is about. It is not going to be easy if you have never read anything of this kind in Chinese, but this is not impossible. Don\u2019t give up. Keep trying again and again. You will find that you can understand a little more each time you try.<\/li><li><strong>Answer the questions. <\/strong>When you think you\u2019ve understood a great part of the text after reading it many times, then do the exercise that\u2019s offered at the end of the post. During this step, if you are not sure which is the right answer, then go back to the text, read once or twice more and try to find the possible answers. Take your time. This is not an exam but an exercise. Prepare yourself a cup of coffee or tea when doing it. So make sure you stay connected with LinguaTW to get the answers.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To learn: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After having done the previous steps, you can now use the dictionary or the popup tool to get the pronunciation and meaning of the new words or expressions that you want to learn. Then try to use these new words either in conversations if you\u2019ve got the chance or by making your own sentences. When you make sentences, the more personal the sentences are, the better (even though for some it works better making weird ones).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last but not least, read out loud the whole text. Don\u2019t skip this step. It\u2019s really helpful. You will find out why when you do it.
